No bake cookie recipes are great to have on hand!  An easy last-minute date oatmeal cookie recipe. You will need to cook your dates before adding them to this recipe but other than that all you need to do is roll these together into little balls and serve them to your company!

Date Oatmeal Cookies Recipe

Ingredients

• 2 1/2 cups oatmeal
• 2 1/2 cups flour
• 1 cup lard
• 1/2 cup margarine
• 1 cup brown sugar
• 1 tsp soda
• 1/2 cup sweet milk

Directions

Blend sugar, lard and margarine together well.

Add sifted flour, soda and oatmeal alternately with milk.

Roll and put together with cooked Dates.
