Banana Bran Loaf
- 1½ cups all-purpose flour
- 2 tsp baking powder
- ½ tsp baking soda
- ¾ tsp salt
- 4 tbsp melted butter
- ½ cup sugar
- 1 egg beaten
- 1 cup bran flakes
- 1 ½ cup mashed banana
- 2 tsp lemon juice
- 1 tsp vanilla
- ½ cup nuts chopped
- ½ cup raisins
- Mix dry ingredients together except for the bran flakes.
- Melt butter; add beaten egg, lemon, vanilla, bran and mashed banana.
- Add to dry ingredients.
- Add nuts and raisins.
- Put into a greased waxed paper lined pan (2 pans).
- Bake for 50 minutes at 325 F.
